Hampi, also known as Pampa-kshethra or Kishkinda-kshethra is a Pilgrimage Center Of India and also World UNESCO Heritage Site. Hampi, the capital of Vijayanagara Empire was a very prosperous, wealthy city during it’s time. Hampi, has more than 1,600 surviving remains that includes forts, riverside features, royal and sacred complexes, temples, shrines, pillared halls, mandapas, memorial structures, water structures and many more.
The hampi city is divided into two: South Hampi(historic side) and North Hampi(Hippie Side). The South Hampi, which is rich in heritage and culture, is very famous for Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple, Elephant’s Stable, Ugra Narasimha, Mighty Shivalinga and many more.
The North Hampi, on the other side of the river has beautiful cafes, lake, bouldering, trekking and sunset points for all the adventure lovers. So it’s a perfect combination for both heritage lovers and adventure seekers.

Hampi Trip Itinerary
Day 0 (Friday)
- Start From Bangalore at 08:00 Pm
Day 1 (Saturday)
- Reach Hampi
- Freshen up and have breakfast
- Note: Freshen up and have breakfast. The rest of the luggage can be dropped off at the Homestay.
(Please note: as the check-in timings are at 11 am, we will be arranging washrooms to freshen up and a place to drop your luggage. Post 11 am, we will be allocating the rooms) - Explore the Heritage Side of Hampi ( Virupaksha Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephants Stable, Vittala Temple, Shivalinga, UgraNarasimha statue)
- Have Lunch(self sponsored)
- Sunset at Hemakuta Hills
- Head back to the homestay and freshen up.
- Have dinner at the restaurant and relax with the nice music at the cafe.
- Sign off for the day
Day 2 (Sunday)
- Freshen up and have breakfast
- Head to the famous Anjanadri Hill, the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
- Beautiful view from the top of the hill, which is definitely a treat to the eyes.
- Have lunch (Self Sponsored)
- After savoring the lunch, head towards Sanapur Lake.
- Head to Sanapur Lake and try some adventurous Cliff Jumping
- Enjoy the experience of the Coracle ride and take lots of pictures (self sponsored)
- Visit Tungabadra Dam
- Dinner at Hospet (Self-Sponsored)
- Leave for Bangalore at 9:30 PM
- Reach Bangalore by the next day morning at 4:00 AM (approx)

If water level of Sanapur Lake is high, a swim or a coracle ride may be prohibited.

- Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
- Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
- Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
- Travellers / Trippers can pay 30 % of actual trip fee in Advance to confirm tickets (Which is Non Refundable)
- Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Adventure Buddha team.
