Hampi, also known as Pampa-kshethra or Kishkinda-kshethra  is a Pilgrimage Center Of India and also World UNESCO Heritage Site. Hampi, the capital of Vijayanagara Empire was a very prosperous, wealthy city during it’s time. Hampi, has more than 1,600 surviving remains that includes forts, riverside features, royal and sacred complexes, temples, shrines, pillared halls, mandapas, memorial structures, water structures and many more.
The hampi city is divided into two: South Hampi(historic side) and North Hampi(Hippie Side). The South Hampi, which is rich in heritage and culture, is very famous for Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple, Elephant’s Stable, Ugra Narasimha, Mighty Shivalinga and many more.

The North Hampi, on the other side of the river has beautiful cafes, lake, bouldering, trekking and sunset points for all the adventure lovers. So it’s a perfect combination for both heritage lovers and adventure seekers.

There’s no end to write about Hampi, its beautiful history and places! So let’s gooooo and experience the rich history of Vijayanagara Empire from our own eyes!!!

Hampi Trip Itinerary

Day 0 (Friday)

• Start From Bangalore at 08:00 Pm

Day 1 (Saturday)

• Reach Hampi
• Freshen up and have breakfast
• Note: Freshen up and have breakfast. The rest of the luggage can be dropped off at the Homestay.
  (Please note: as the check-in timings are at 11 am, we will be arranging washrooms to freshen up and a place to drop your luggage. Post 11 am, we will be allocating the rooms)
• Explore the Heritage Side of Hampi ( Virupaksha Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephants Stable, Vittala Temple, Shivalinga, UgraNarasimha statue)
• Have Lunch(self sponsored)
• Sunset at Hemakuta Hills
• Head back to the homestay and freshen up.
• Have dinner at the restaurant and relax with the nice music at the cafe.
• Sign off for the day

Day 2 (Sunday)

• Freshen up and have breakfast
• Head to the famous Anjanadri Hill, the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
• Beautiful view from the top of the hill, which is definitely a treat to the eyes.
• Have lunch (Self Sponsored)
• After savoring the lunch, head towards Sanapur Lake.
• Head to Sanapur Lake and try some adventurous Cliff Jumping
• Enjoy the experience of the Coracle ride and take lots of pictures (self sponsored)
• Visit Tungabadra Dam
• Dinner at Hospet (Self-Sponsored)
• Leave for Bangalore at 9:30 PM
• Reach Bangalore by the next day morning at 4:00 AM (approx)

Note:
If water level of Sanapur Lake is high, a swim or a coracle ride may be prohibited.

Things To Carry

• Water Bottle – a life Savior(2 liters)
• Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
• Backpack to carry all the items you need
• Pull over  or Sweaters
• You can carry energy food like( dry fruits, Chocolate bars, Glucose, Electrolyte, and flavoured milk)
• Trekking pants or trousers(make sure you take comfortable ones)
• Cap or a hat (to look like cool dudes )
• Power bank (optional)
• Camera ( optional)
• Sunscreen lotion, sun blocks, and lip balm( if getting tanned will scare you)
• Sunglasses ( optional)
• Extra cash for things that are not included in the list
• Raincoat
• Personal medicine if required
• Mosquito repellent cream
• Torch or headlamps 
• Flip flops to roam around the campsite
• Towels & Blankets

Group Size

1. 12 to 20 members per trip
2. we would try to maintain equal male-to-female ratio for most of our trips
3. The trip will get confirmed once we’ve 8 registrations in total (solo travellers, couples, groups, etc.,)
4. In case if we fail to get the minimum required numbers, a full amount refund or option to transfer them to any other future trip will be provided

  • Homestay with cots with beds/floor mattresses(sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
  • Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with the above points.

  Travel:

  • Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats).
  • Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
  • We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
