Kodachadri which means Hill of Kutaja/Jasmine flowers, is one of the most beautiful places to visit. The splendid scenic views along the trek and the the view at the top is just breath taking!!! Kodachadri is located in the Mookambika national forest which is a natural heritage site as declared by Karnataka Government.
On the way to the peak, there’s Hidlumane waterfalls! The fascinating Hidlumane Falls is a series of cascading falls that offers a refreshing sight to the viewers. The waterfall flows as a series of 6 or 7 falls, each a beautiful sight in its own right. The interesting part about these falls is that each of these falls is hidden from one another and each seems to be more enthralling than the last one you see. The milky white water rushing down against a background of rocks and greenery is a sight to behold.

Kodachadri Trek Itinerary
Day 0 (Friday)
- Start From Bangalore at 09:30 Pm
Day 1 (Saturday)
- Reach Kodachadri campsite engulfed between the beautiful hillocks and lushing greenery of Westernghats.
- Freshen up and have breakfast.
- Trek for 5kms amidst Western ghats.
- Enjoy the tall magnificent Hidlumane waterfalls on the way.
- The mighty hidlumane falls sight will leave you awestruck.
- Continue the trek for another 5-6kms to reach the peak.
- Witness the soul filling sunset from misty mountain kodachadri peak.
- Head back to the base with a bumpy thrilling ride in the jeep.
- Savor the local cuisine in the woods.
- Make some moves for crazy tunes!!
- Bonfire to make you warm from the cool night breeze(If Weather permits)
- Sign off for the day in Tents or Dormitories.
Day 2(Sunday)
- Wake up early and freshen up
- Have breakfast and check-out from the campsite at around 09:00am.
- Visit the ancient Nagara Fort.
- Visit Devagange Temple.
- Have lunch on the way( self-sponsored) and leave to Bangalore
- Reach Bangalore by 09:30Pm (Approx)
Things To Carry
- Water Bottle – a life Savior(2 liters)
- Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
- Backpack to carry all the items you need
- Pull over or Sweaters
- You can carry energy food like( dry fruits, Chocolate bars, Glucose, Electrolyte, and flavoured milk)
- Trekking pants or trousers(make sure you take comfortable ones)
- Cap or a hat (to look like cool dudes )
- Power bank (optional)
- Camera ( optional)
- Sunscreen lotion, sun blocks, and lip balm( if getting tanned will scare you)
- Sunglasses ( optional)
- Extra cash for things that are not included in the list
- Raincoat
- Personal medicine if required
- Mosquito repellent cream
- Torch or headlamps
- Flip flops to roam around the campsite
- Towels & Blankets

- Any changes in the pickup location/timings will be informed to you 24 hours in advance

Group Size
- 12 to 25 members per trip
- we would maintain equal male-to-female ratio for most of our trips
- At least 8 members are required to confirm the trip
- In case if we fail to get the minimum required numbers, a full amount refund or option to transfer them to any other future trip will be provided

- This trip involves basic facilities in terms of food, travel, and stay without any luxury, whatsoever.
- This is a group trip with a shared model. It may not suit everyone – especially those expecting privacy, Luxury, and comfort.
- Homestay with cots & beds/ floor mattresses(sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
- Homestays with Tent stay.
- Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with the above points.
Travel:
- Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats) depending on the number of participants and Availability
- Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
- We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
- Seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis to the pickup point

- if cancellations are made 7 days before the actual trip date and if you want refund then 10 % of the amount paid would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 3 to 6 days before the actual trip date, 25 % of the amount paid would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 2 days before the actual trip date, 50 % of the amount paid would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 0 to 1 day before the actual trip date, 100 % of the amount paid would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- In case of any unforeseen situations like bad weather conditions, a political issue or government restrictions complete activity will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.

- Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
- Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
- Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
- Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
- Travellers / Trippers can pay 30 % of actual trip fee in Advance to confirm tickets (Which is Non Refundable)
- Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Adventure Buddha team.
